Earn from trading: fees, rebates and volume rewards
Trading is the highest-variance way to earn — and the only one where you can also lose. What is predictable is the cost side: Duckpot charges 0.002% on spot, and 0.02% maker / 0.08% taker on perpetual futures, with trading activity crediting Duckpot Points on top. Lower fees and maker rebates directly improve your net result.
Step by step
- 1
Understand the fee schedule
Spot trades cost 0.002% per side. Perpetual futures cost 0.02% as maker and 0.08% as taker, charged on notional value.
- 2
Post rather than take
Limit orders that rest in the book pay the maker rate. Clicking an order-book price fills the limit form for you.
- 3
Trade the deepest pairs
Majors like BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT have the tightest spreads, so slippage costs you less than the fee itself.
- 4
Collect activity points
Volume traded credits Duckpot Points, which redeem for rewards in the shop and offset trading costs.
- 5
Manage risk before size
Futures are leveraged. Set stops, size positions against your total balance and check the liquidation price before confirming.
Before you start
- Rewards are claimed manually in the Rewards Hub — nothing credits until you tap Claim.
- A $1 minimum deposit is required before futures trading and on-chain withdrawals.
- Identity verification, a transaction PIN and 2FA are required to withdraw anything you earn.
- One account per person. Multi-account farming is detected and results in freezing and forfeited rewards.
